I don't have much to add to this discussion, except that I went to Alaska a few weeks ago and I loved it. Looking as a tourist its easy to say that I would like to preserve as it is, but people living there might think entirely differe

So, about the name, the first time I've heard about WFC was when this post was released https://github.com/mxgmn/WaveFunctionCollapse I did not included it on my readme because I did not used or even looked at the

Everyone, I was monitoring this thread a while back and it got no traction. I only now seeing the comments (we really do need a notification system for HN) I'll try to answer them all right now.

I've been meaning to create one of those ever since I saw it for the first time. Back then I was more of an artist than a programmer, but I think now I have the skills to try. I find these art pieces very relaxing.

Hi everyone, I finally got around to implement my version on the wave function collapse algorithm. WFC uses rules to define what tiles can be placed around each other. In order to achieve this rules, I wrote I simple tool that helped me to

Great article. Got me thinking if this could be used to solve the knapsack problem.

In this second iteration I've adopted a lot of steps from the original algorithm that I neglected on the first version. Now I'm defining rules for each side of the tile (top, right, bottom, left), I'm also looking only to the

Hi everyone. I've been busy with a lot of other projects, but I've decided to take a shot at this one, since I like procedural content generation so much. I'm calling it a simplified version of the WFC because I'm taking

Yep, that is kind of what I'm doing. I'm storing the images in the pi but backing them up on my server and having another script to remove old ones that were already sent to my server.

This is the first test end to end of my Raspberry PI camera. The project is kinda simple, but I had to take care of some problems that might arrive: power outages, no internet, no space left on SD card... I wrote a handful of small scripts

so tonight I've decided to test the raspberry pi camera end to end, using my window as a test subject. The pi captures the images in specific intervals, another script back them up to my server. I then got those images and used ffmpeg
