This is the first test end to end of my Raspberry PI camera. The project is kinda simple, but I had to take care of some problems that might arrive: power outages, no internet, no space left on SD card... I wrote a handful of small scripts to create the images, upload them to my server and to clean afterwards. Everything is run by cronjobs. Soon I'll be uploading the scripts in case someone finds this project useful. More information can be seen watching the other videos on the playlist. Hope you like it
- schwartzworld 5y agoLooks great! I did a bunch of time lapses too, but rather than store the images on the PI, I set up the pi as a flask server that gets a request, takes a picture and sends it back in the response. This avoids the running out of SD card space problem, because all images are stored on a different client computer (in my case an old laptop).
