Yeah this article was better – can we just change the link to that one? It also mentioned that Tesla hasn't registered for a permit in CA, which would require disclosing a lot more (like what you're asking for). Which is telling.

It feels extremely disingenuous to have a video of burned Teslas (from vandalism) at the top of the article... why do this? Is there any explanation for this except malice? It has absolutely nothing to do with the safety of robotaxis. Isn&#

The problem is that the car companies (like appliance companies) don't give a shit about building quality software. So they will abandon it and your car (which has a lifetime of 10+ years) will have software that stopped being patched

They also could forget about it. I bet I've probably seen Oxy in some cloudflare post from years ago (maybe even from a launch week or something) but it never resonated. But I might have encountered this problem or am about to, and suc

Really? Do you have links to any good analysis on this? I'd be shocked, given that the bun team has shown a ton of maturity in all their messaging as far as API compatibility, engineering chops, and attention to detail. Nothing I'

Yeah I think we're splitting hairs and actually aren't in any sort of disagreement here. I 100% agree that you have to be registered on paper with a government entity to get all the legal protections, insurance, etc etc etc. I

These rust based tools really change the idea of what's possible (when you can get feedback in milliseconds). But I'm trying to figure out what Astral as a company does for revenue. I don't see any paid products on their webs

I would think that sort of framing implies that the government gives them permission to exist. Rather than, the natural state is that they exist unless they do something bad enough to be shut down. Unless you mean, they need the government&

At least in the US we started solving this by having high salaries for tech workers in government (see 18f and USDS, etc, both shut down by Trump), or UK's GDS which was a pioneer in this space. If you want to attract good talent, ther

Stuff like this (lets wring more money out of our existing stuff even if it erodes the customer experience) smacks of a culture that’s losing a spirit of innovation. This is the kind of thing some jackass worked out in a spreadsheet and the
