I usually come off as a bumbling idiot when I try and pair program. It completely breaks the way my brain works trying to explain something while also trying to reason about a piece of software as a whole

FWIW, I run yabai without having disabled SIP and it works great. There is probably some subset of functionality I am missing out on, but it does what I need it to.

My n=1 anecdote is that is largely depends on the phones being used for the video chat. My OnePlus 6t works great when talking to a Samsung Galaxy S10e, but is terrible when talking with someone using a Galaxy S9+

I'd generally agree that the first party documentation isn't great. There is a list of code examples[0] that I found pretty useful though. I picked one of the python ones and dug into it to get a better idea how everything is setu

The tile ones only have 150-400ft range, which is fine for locating things in your home, but not so great if you lose something out in public

It does mention it though, FTA: ...and a calendar where the year is separated not by months but by weeks, which is used in finances, but here we’re only interested in the basics.

We use the AnyConnect VPN client which allows for a password & 2nd password field for yubikey, same concept. Agree that it works nicely

Definitely. It is one of the reasons I enjoy working in a 2 week sprint setting (all other reasons aside). It forces me to really break tasks down to actionable items

I very much identify with this. Both from an ADHD and anxiety perspective. I really had no idea how bad it had gotten until I was able to experience what not having constant anxiety felt like. Medication was a huge step forward in helping m

For me, it is the "open-ended" part of a project that really ends up screwing me. If I don't have a definitive task/goal to work towards that is when I start to procrastinate
