I had to re-read a few times to figure out what the site was for and about. Still not sure I understand but that's the problem for them. If I'm a customer, I'm gone cause I can't figure out what it's for and I see t

Off-Topic: Most stories about politics, or crime, or sports, or celebrities, unless they're evidence of some interesting new phenomenon. If they'd cover it on TV news, it's probably off-topic. https://news.ycombina

I don't understand. What does this have to do with HN, the typical topics, and the typical users who come here?

Because the only sources in the article are non-CIA but claim they are CIA. The article is of little value if I have to search around the internet looking up information. And the sources in the articles are sources I have never heard of bef

Yes. Thank you. The link text gives the impression that is the front page and I didn't notice. I'm sure a lot of people don't notice which is the issue I'm trying to point out.

If the CIA didn't publish this, then how can one say there are no state secrets? How can one say they obtained the same conclusion without knowing the CIA's conclusion?

That doesn't make sense. Why do I need Homebrew to install the command line tools of macOS on macOS? Doesn't macOS already have them installed? Same for Linux, etc.

I see a ton of links to other unauthorized sources--most people I've never heard of--who claim to have inside CIA documentation.

How does he know what the CIA's model says? How did he get this inside information? And shouldn't he now have a warrant out for his arrest for obtaining such a thing?

The site is using an obsolete version of XHTML. So it's probably using out of date other things, too, and not targeting phones. EDIT: I just checked. There are 77 HTML errors and warnings alone.

FreeBSD, as an OS, does not change that much. It's not hard to keep up. That's why it's such a solid OS. The main web site lists any changes or additions with each release. https://www.freebsd.org/releases
