I started to write my story here along the same lines. Perhaps more along the lines of don't be afraid to ask. Almost every job I got, and they've mostly been pretty fantastic, I got cause I called and ask for it. I was told some

Or just concentrate on reading writing and 'rithmetic and let them find a career they want that isn't forced on them

I don't consider it being stuck at all. And that's coming from a die hard C and assembly language programmer.

I will immediately remove all the shell scripts on my system based on this comment alone. Posted from my phone since my system came crashing down.

I find it somehow interesting that a tool for Python is written in Rust.

So now you need to dig into another anonymous post from over four years ago with no details of what happened?

If you ignore this thread, did you even consider it before now? I've been with Namecheap for at least 16 years but this is the first I've read of complaints and never had any complaints myself. Which should make one question this

How about 16 years of lacking a negative? Does that count? How about never heard of any issues till this unverified, anonymous thread. Shouldn't that make one suspicious of it? Does that count?

I just renewed my domain last February, I think, and didn't have to do that. When did that start?

Scrolling through the current comments. In the meantime, been with NameCheap for I don't recall how long with no issues whatsoever.

ZFS scrub performance shouldn’t come at the expense of production worklaods. If scrubs cause latency or downtime, your pool lacks the IOPs and metadata performance needed for healthy maintanance.

The point is a Homer or Twain, etc, were original authors of works and Eastwood was not an author of any of those works. If an unknown actor portrayed the lead in a Huckleberry Finn film, that would not elevate that actor to the level of a

Today it might be but it wasn't always. I still remember curling up with a good book and I still do today. I know a lot of younger people might not even have a library card or go looking for a good novel to read.

Clint Eastwood didn't write any of those. He's an actor, director and producer of other people's work.

And you're going to quote a guy accused of sexual misconduct? CK will never be a Homer. But bringing that quote up from a piece of literature, not just something he said, is being ridiculous.

To me this "knowledge" seems to be a crutch. Real knowledge would show how to do it on their own as thousands of us have done for decades and still do today.
