I dont understand how this would be possible without it being a gmail and browser security issue. Maybe someone with browser dev experience can chime in? Google should take notice of this.

Could you explain what type of data it is? Is it camera, lidar, engine controls, input controls, or all combined? What time length does the data cover? One hour of driving? Two? Do you have open map data related to the data set?

The important thing to consider is that VR is a new medium. Google's new VR offering ties in with the most recent communication tool we've had: the smartphone. Using the Pixel to onboard users into VR is a very smart move. It make

In open source you keep the rights. Which for this game probably means millions. They did not get the rights or Rúe money. It just baffles me to no end.

Some were US based developers who could have gotten more money as dish washers. I don't get this.

But no other engineering industry has the same issue. They don't build intelligent machines. The question still stands.

I met with one of your salespeople in ISTE and she was really nice. Great impression about culture. (thumbs up)

They should definitely try to do things differently. Even when the end result is the same. The reason is simple: it provides an alternate point of view of the problem. Some issues only appear when we try to do things differently. Those is

The only way we are going to build better tools is to keep building them. Complaining about the sort of cambrian explosion going on right now on web development is short sighted. Ideas need to be discovered, explored and improved. Everythin

I was careful to challenge the usefulness of the exercise. Mostly because I took it as a personal challenge. However, you make an important point. This exercise assumes the problem set will be identical in the future. This sounds like a sen

Yes, good point. Let me add some spark to the fire. What if the machine learns by itself? The base program is still man made but the rest is developed by it. Where does one simple say the machine made a mistake instead of programmer error?

Not at all. A VM is quite different to a shared host. There is more work and maintenance involved. For smaller projects its not worth it.
