This was solved in India by many many online vendors by using Cash on Delivery. CoD was a remnant of the days of telemarketing because Indians didn't possess credit cards/debit cards. Now most Indians who order online do have credit cards b

Actually, on looking deeper it appears that cloudfront does NOT support dynamic gzipping. So unfortunately, cloudflare would be your only option. Also, google's pagespeed service (in beta) is also an option. Also free, so that's good :D EDI

Hang on! So your article says "CDN to cache them (which CloudFront supports)" but you're actually using CloudFLARE ? :O We're all so confused by this! Haha :D

Actually that's exactly what happened to me! :P I thought oh so cloudflare can fix this, eh. I should just reverse proxy my stuff through cloudflare. Then I realized, oh they said cloudfront. So you could still technically keep your stuff i

So it's one of their advertisers. Main problem with 3rd party ad networks =/ Hope they sort it out. For what it's worth, torrentfreak is pretty clean.

Nice post, tons of great advice. However, I have to say that the title is wrong. There's nothing django specific about any of those approaches. I've tried django-compress and it was a nightmare, the old style synccompress was actually easie

That's quite possible, the copy paste is quite obvious though I don't know for sure which way it went. I don't know who this tweet is from or his credibility so I'll just leave it up in the air for now. It's still alarming that they were va

I .. I'm just ashamed of what's happening over here these days. Free speech appears to be an absolute illusion. It's all well and good until you say something even remotely related or critical of a popular personality. Then, it's jungle law

My question was: Why would you create a function that does something you could access as a built in language feature ? What is the benefit of using a function as opposed to just evaluating the result of i%3==0 ? Looking at a function call f

Yes, I see your point. But in this case if I wanted to change it to do it on 7, I'd have to make a change in 3 places. 1. The function definition (def multiple_of_3) 2. The function contents (number % 3 == 0) 3. The function call(s). If I d

I see an incorrect algorithm in your solution but I don't really see what would be called an edge case (just to explain: anything divisible by 3 will enter the first conditional and omit the last, hence the algorithm you've used is incorrec
