Right idea I think but I would go with something that makes it more useful for not just prototyping like api export / import and direct editing of template formats like interpreting ruby's erb just enough to display some placeholder text.

Definitely a neat idea. Could also just email them a reusable link except that would leave the credentials in your browser's history unless there is a way to avoid that.

Should be used for static assets over HTTPS. Where the main page could specify the sha for the various resources and avoid bothering with encryption and letting http proxies cache them.

Yeah, because newspapers are just dying out because they sold papers with advertisements. Nothing to do with that web thing, right? BTW can we drop the sarcasm? Doesn't seem like there's any reason you can't sell a product subsidised for ad

Maybe you're happy with that but there are others who want a decent package manager and don't want deal with the differences in OSX vs Linux.

He also just uses a shared repository in subversion to do this which he could have easily have done in git with the same amount of effort (of course with all the problems with comes with the svn way).

They only have to distribute these binaries to people who already brought the product. My guess as to why it is public ally accessible is that due to selling it through the app store they can't tell who actually brought it and the amount of

You're practically limited to h.264 anyway on mobile devices none of the hardware has support for anything else.

Surely that must have some sort of scaling by default for webpages. Otherwise I would guess nearly all websites appear miniature.

Presumably just as vulnerable as someone who doesn't know where to drive without their GPS. What would be interesting is though with a network of self driving cars you could figure out where all the GPS jammers were.

If they weren't different it would likely everyone would just pick the same first zone, this way they can randomly assign resources keeping it even.

I can't see much benefit to Apple though they obviously already make heaps on markup of the current Mac Pro's. Selling OS X standalone I imagine would devalue the rest of OS X products.

Why would that be better? You'd probably still have to convert it. And also that structure would be harder to convert to from a CSV format or a SQL query.

The division in the first will always be x / 100km while in the second the division will be x divided by your mpg ratio. The first division is way easier as your mpg ratio is more likely to be something random.

If you still want to use xargs and ls perhaps avoiding \0's (perhaps so you can easily grep on the data) you can use "ls -Q | xargs rm". The advantage of that is you can still easily use grep on the data as it is still newline delimited but
