Yeah, I think something fishy is going on here I've seen quite a few articles in the last few days saying Microsoft has been getting rave reviews for its phones without seeing any of them.

The idea is that would be detectable because the recipient would no longer be able to view the actual link and the password can be changed again.

The only thing I can think of is it allows the user to realise if their account had been compromised because the password have been changed. But I agree with you.

I think you would need to have the last unknown character at the start of the next cipher block as you would need to control the content of the cipher block directly after that.

Bcrypt isn't specifically harder to compute on GPUs. It just has an adjustable amount of work it has to do which increases the load. Bitcoin effectively has the same thing with the difficulty.

That would just be a centralised version of bitcoin which is pretty much equivalent to PayPal or any of the many clones.

CM7 isn't stable there is just a rc out. So you must have been running CM6 which is based off 2.2 not 2.3.
