What are the specifics? What kind of devices do you have to support, what kind of network? What kind of media? If Netflix is too hard, then my goto Plex, wouldn't be much easier. Before they added all their cruft, it was by far the eas

I haven’t had a job do any sort of training in… 20+ years. But then I’ve had some odd luck/experiences at every job I’ve had, except my first one. That first job was when I was 14 and was mowing yards with my neighbor who was a grad st

I've worked with similar microscopes. One of them, worked perfectly fine for the tasks it was assigned to, but the software would only work up to Windows XP. To make matters worse, the whole system was hostile to any changes or updates

The far right will use this as a reason to curtail research. Maybe just curtail "dangerous" research at first. Then whatever other research they can convince their followers is also dangerous.

If your pursuing a misinformation campaign it does make since to occasionally publish some facts. That way people can wring their hands if they should ban you or not, and so your supporters have something to say that you were right about.

I find hiding all of these articles behind a walled garden a little distasteful. I remember the times when I couldn't have afforded access to such information. Back then, this kind of stuff would have been published in a magazine, and

This Lab-Leak Theory should have been killed in the cradle. This idle speculation about the origin theory of Covid19 only goes to fuel the machinations of conservative think tanks and does nothing to further science. As a scientist, I would

For me the biggest appeal is you could convert a petrol powered car to run off of hydrogen. While they are not as efficient as fuel cell, running a regular engine off of hydrogen would allow us to create demand for fueling stations faster t

I've always hoped hydrogen would have taken off. Since you can convert gas engines to run off of hydrogen it would be easier to move the market to hydrogen than electric. Allowing us to build out the infrastructure first, then transiti

How far back do you sit from this monitor? Do you use resolution scaling? The last time I tried a large format display, I couldn't move back far enough to make it work but I really loved working in 4k without scaling.
