I think the name is just a correlation, not a causation. To put it bluntly, you won't fail because your name is "London", you will probably fail because you grew up with a parent that thought London was a good name for a pers

If nginx caches for 300s and that's the only reason you are installing pdns-recursor, that's unnecessary technical debt in your production pipeline.

>Jewelry - maybe, but isn't it so desired for jewelry because it is scarce? You could make jewelry out of less noble metals. You're right, people want it because it's shiny and rare. That makes demand for it. People can an

Why does it matter where the operator is? How about a ban on killing unquantifiable targets? Modern fighter pilots can be just as overworked and have about the same risk of dying from being shot at.

Almost, but not quite. The difference would be that the US isn't killing civilians just for the sake of killing civilians to cause terror.

Fighter pilots now have very little risk of being shot down. The only real difference is the cost like you mentioned.

In other news, pumpers in a pump and dump scheme continue to pump. I can't believe this is even on the front page. What's next? A note from Tim Cook bullish on Apple?

I agree; however, the Air France incident you are referring to is when the airspeed indicator was locked due to a frozen pitot tube, wasn't it? That seems like a much less blatant failure on the part of the pilots.

Yeah, it seems like there should be a big red light on the air speed indicator that says it's under the pilot's control.

It brings up an interesting conundrum. The more that pilots use autopilot for approach, the less feel they have for what the controls should feel like at the correct airspeed. However, if we just outright ban auto-pilot for approach, there

I'm tired of this same old implication. My parents made ~25k. They did not buy my first computer, and they did not pay for me to go to college. Is that what you are looking for?

You are wrong. Developers should use random if it's for something security sensitive like generating keys. random will block when entropy is too low, urandom will just continue recycling entropy, which is cryptographically dangerous.
