i wasn’t sure if the poster was actually in a golden handcuff situation or mocking people who are. it’s sarcasm in either case but my comment is only relevant on the former.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but there is a very simple solution to this. Just do the math and find the optimal time to leave min/maxing the equity awards.

If you're playing a mobile game with friends, presumably you care when it's your turn. I certainly do. I wasn't thinking of single-player games, I agree there's basically no reason those should be sending push notificati

NPS can be useful in certain contexts, especially when communicating in large organizations, even though it can be noisy and is usually annoying to be nagged about as an end-user.

They probably meant snobbery that vim is superior because it's more capable, not because it's more ubiquitous. Nano is also very widely installed, so the latter point isn't even particularly true.

I don’t think your theory is correct that Apple made their products worse on purpose. Hanlon’s Razor suggests it was simply Apple trying something new that didn’t turn out to be an improvement, and them taking some time to accept that inter

I don’t follow. The leaks indicate Apple is planning a fully designed MBP. The schematics show a completely redesigned chassis and the removal of the touch bar. i’m not sure why the current M1 MBP is relevant here.

No, it is based on leaked schematics[1] from one of Apple's component suppliers who were the unfortunate victims of a ransomeware attach. [1] https://www.macrumors.com/2021/04/21/macbook-pro-stolen-sche..

It’s possible but very unlikely. In my experience, people who suffer from OCD almost never say things like “sorry I have an ocd need to do X”, since people who have OCD know the true depth of OCD is not in the compulsions but rather the ob

I agree with the point about game being overloaded, but the statement that relatively few people want to play games like fortnite on their phones is clearly false. PubG alone has tens of millions of people who play it exclusively on mobile,
