I am wondering what you are referring to with 'non-chromium' browser market. Typically people don't complain about chromium-based browsers, but about the dominance of Webkit-based browsers (Safari, Chrome, Opera, Edge, etc.)

This answer is wrong on so many levels... I don't know why Apple is allowed to keep other browser engines out of their system, but probably just because the relevant people just don't understand that the Chrome/FF/etc. o

In my opinion, the article misses the point: Security by obscurity might be beneficial, but it is by no means as strong as real security. So the problem is, that people who take the obscurity road, might not care so much about the rest. Sec

One and two read as if STUN and TURN are specific technologies build for WebRTC, but as far as I know, those are just the standard technologies for handling P2P-scenarios with consumer level usability in mind. I think the biggest issue is t

I think the argument is kinda cheap. I mean, there are also those people, who just understand the superficial principles of OOP and struggled to understand some OOP design and therefore don't like it. Simply saying that the people who

I think the problem is, that two things are getting mixed up. First, there are content providers like Facebook or Youtube. Those platforms store the content of their users and if the content can be publicized the content providers have to a

I hope you are aware, that this discussion is not about 'destroying children'. It is about the effects of early touch screen usage and if it is beneficial for the development of a child. So the question is if a kid would do better

Exactly what I thought. A few years ago, I was in a hotel where one family gave their kids tablets to watch movies during breakfast. I can hardly imagine that this practice is beneficial for the kids development.

@HN: If you use the word 'degrees' please add F or C to indicate which scale you are referring to. Many here are from the US and would interpret it as degrees Fahrenheit while many others read it as degrees Celsius.

Time and time again I wonder how Apple manages to avoid rules/laws which are applicable for all other players in the market. More than a decade ago the EU forced manufacturers of mobile phones to commit to one standard for power plugs.
