I think the argument is kinda cheap. I mean, there are also those people, who just understand the superficial principles of OOP and struggled to understand some OOP design and therefore don't like it. Simply saying that the people who like OOP are the ones who don't see though the folly, works the other way around too and has no real substance as an argument.
