No, the title is incorrect. Opting out is not going to the mall (private property). I kind of see it like saying "I want to buy something on your website - but I don't want to give you an email address or credit card!" Obviously not a perfe

To be fair, government confirmation of a 'contact' 'inside the Chinese parties involved' seems like at least somewhat of a new development. Maybe not 'proof', but definitely stronger evidence - maybe even a step beyond suspicion.

As the NYT explained it - I believe the classifications organize the cables into degrees of secrecy. 'Top secret' is the highest secrecy in the US Gov't, so I would imagine 'secret' is therefore more secret than 'classified'. 'Noforn' appar

Does Einstein really hold an important relevance to 'everyman USA'? To nearly every citizen - and, I would argue, even with those a basic (HS) level of physics - he's not so different than Heisenberg, Bohr, Bethe, Shrodinger, etc. Sure, the

Isn't email the only password that 'really' matters? Barring super-secure sites like banks, if you have the email password, you have every 'forgot my password' link available - which will typically either let you reset the password, locking

One glaring inconsistency with the 'scale' argument: substitutions. Have you ever met youth leave (competitive or otherwise) that didn't allow free substitution? Hell, do you think that in their quintessential (and cliche) example - the str

I think first and foremost it was incredibly inappropriate for the ref to be talking about the play with the player. But here's a description of what I saw: -Ref inquisitively looks at Fabiano, pointing to his arm -Fabiano jokingy shakes hi

For me, the incident leaving the worst taste in my mouth was the footage of the ref laughing with Fabiano, pointing to his arm after Fabiano's obvious double-handball goal in the Brazil game against the Ivory Coast. (Again, very hard to fin

Can anyone comment on the divorce situation? The seemingly huge requests by soon-to-be ex-wife? I mean, CA community property and all, but nonetheless, any insights/opinions? (for those of us not up on the gossip)
