Looking back I'm actually very glad I transferred as opposed to entering as a freshman. I've instead taken so much more advantage of opportunities compared to where I went my freshman year (UCLA) after essentially getting to 'restart'.
- impeachgod 17y agoI did get into UCLA though. I am going to be hearing from Berkeley tomorrow, but I think I'll go to UCLA. I really, really like Los Angeles, and know a lot of security hackers there.
- justsomeguy 17y agoI went to UCSD and had good friends who went to every UC (except Merced). I spent a lot of time at each - I can tell you UCLA is the best school to go to in the entire system if you want a well-rounded college experience. The demographics, location, prestige, size, reputation, academics, are all "more perfect" than the rest of the UC's.
- stanleydrew 17y agoHeh, I also transferred, but Cornell was the only school that didn't accept my transfer application.
