I've been carrying around my SB2 15" in my backpack's laptop pocket for about half a year. Here's the summary. - Zero problem with the fatness on my end. Looks kinda sexy tbh. - The keyboard is really good about from the

Our descendants are going to be seriously confused by our practice of limiting or taking away people's ability to earn money because they publicly used a wrong word. Or so I hope, at least.

Does anyone actually prefer reading text on a bright background? If so, what are your reasons? For me, the choice is obvious to the point that I'm often annoyed at the lengths I need to go to in order to browse the web comfortably. I f

Can we even prove whether a modern person is conscious? If so, shouldn't we be able to occasionally encounter such unconscious people, either occurring randomly by natural variation (especially given how recently the breakdown is cla

I tend to wrap, or even refactor purchased assets to suit my needs. In that way it more closely resembles the workflow of collaboration with other developers - they provide a working implementation and you tweak it for your use case. This b

I have the exact opposite response. The wobbly windows look wacky and distracting. To my eye, windows are simply not meant to do that . I suppose it's a matter of what you're used to (as is often the case when it comes to UI opin

Let's be honest, the real mess is with UNIX filenames. I dare you to come up with a legitimate use case for allowing newlines and other control characters in a file name.

There's interesting work being done by the guys working on the Unity game engine. Their new data-oriented programming model (still based on C#) promises efficient packing of objects into arrays of properties which (supposedly) results

Here's my strangely unpopular opinion these days: it still counts as racism when it's white people that you're negatively stereotyping.

The 2018 Stack Overflow Developer Survey [1] puts VSCode at almost double the number of developers compared to Atom (34.9% vs 18%). You're right about the package count: atom.io lists 7654 packages, compared to 6802 at marketplace.visu
