Larger sensors are better in respects other than megapixels: diffraction limits hit at much higher f/stops, there is higher dynamic range and less noise, much better microcontrast as a result.

Aero 15x runs Windows, and the Windows version of the software is much better optimised. The software load is quite different, which is misleading.

That, and also battery life (and the extrapolated time left until empty) takes a severe hit when doing CPU intensive task for more than a minute. Does anyone know if thermal throttling is so much of an issue for iPads?

The i9 CPU is a K part, therefore, I would think one could conceivably undervolt/underclock in order to change the thermals on the machine to their liking. Is there such a tool for Mac OS X?

I would have thought the vector capabilities of ARM and Intel architectures would have been useful here, in addition to any multi-threadedness. They can be used to add fast GPU like functions, e.g. alpha blending.
