I've mentioned this a few times, but the issue isn't with auto-renewals existing, it's with how these auto-renewals are applied and the policy around them.

This is very interesting. I'm in Europe so I'm going to investigate this further. Thanks

Please see some of my other comments. The issue isn't with the fact that there is a renewal (despite my poor explanation that might have made it seem that way) but with how they go about it.

I wonder if my reaction to this is more based on how they implement auto-renew rather than the fact they do it at all, as I agree that companies need to have auto-renew for many reasons. I just find something very unfair about a policy th

I think I wasn't clear enough that this is an annual subscription of significant cost ($300). With that in mind I would absolutely expect them to email in advance reminding me of the charge (other similar services do). I agree that for

Sorry, didn't explain properly. I had subscribed already for the first year ($300). My renewal date for this next year came without warning and I was charged again, without recourse. I updated the text to clarify.

Thanks. Unfortunately it's definitely abandoned. It looks like it was sold in 2015 to NetObjects and there's been basically no development on it since then and no support responses or updates. Very sad as it looks like a great app

This doesn’t necessary answer your question but I use an iPad, Apple Pencil and Notability for all design and then usually write a document with included sketches where relevant.

Haha this is a bit of an extreme reaction. I experienced the bug and yes, it’s frustrating. Though I don’t understand the mentality that “because I paid $X for this, I shouldn’t experience Y”. Bugs happen in large and small companies. Peopl

I’m looking for the exact same thing. Seems to be few and far between. I have a Synology which has two photo products but they can be a little clunky. The challenge seems to be a sensible way to add an import.

Everyone speaks about being ‘locked in’ to the apple ecosystem. I’m happy to be in the ecosystem and I’m happy to pay more for my devices. The alternatives are simply interior (having used all platforms myself). In particular when you are t

Interesting, I just closed Reddit while complaining in my head about how poor the experience is: - You can't seem to persist the "old reddit" design any more. It keeps switching you back to the new design - It's just muc

No. For data-driven apps, it's a question of how your users interact with that data. Do you need an application that allows users to have an interactive view of some data that wouldn't be easily achieved through a traditional CRUD

Don't underestimate the cost of switching contexts. I find that when I have two projects on the go, even the most trivial "5 minute" request that comes in via Slack or Email has the potential to bomb the next 2 hours. You hav
