I'm not agains the Raspberry pi foundation. I'm against the stupid old SoC they used and the low amount of memory. If they want to build a personal computer then add more memory, Raspberry PI now is an expensive microcontroller.

I can't believe the level of raspberry pi astroturfing present here. This board is so much more powerful that it can run full Ubuntu fast and the same chip is actually used to build very competent android tablets. I read things like "mind

Microwave oven radio waves are non-ionizing 2.4 Ghz and I suspect they cause several health issues to any living organism exposed to them, even for a short time.

Storage can be as reliable as you want, you only need to throw parity at the problem. Flash is one of the most unrealiable technology today, chips are ofter rated at only 10000 writes before bit-errors, flash is used as storage today thanks

You don't need anything fancy like negative frequency light bulb for that, only a regular light bulb that emits light 180 degree phase shifted to the already existing light in the room. It's actually impossible to do with a light bulb becau

BTW, CHDK doesn't use any exploit or vulnerability as all Canon cameras can boot from the SD memory, you only need to know the firmware file format, that it is of course already documented by the folks from CHDK.

Some Canon cameras are scriptable natively ( http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Canon_Basic ) and also using the CHDK extension. I understand the vendor's position on this, the market for scriptable cameras is tiny, you can easily destroy your ca

Unlike most startups out there, I believe Matasano is a purely consulting business with no product, IOS app or social site, and it got bought anyway. As the founder of a "cyber-startup" with no product and no social site, this is very encou

This post really set people off. Guess what, the cards were such a retarded idea, apparently in Defcon there were contests about who got more red or yellow cards, this actually caused lots of harrasment.
