One downside of Scrivener is how old UI feels and looks. It definitely needs a heavy facelift after all these years. Oh and the use of RTF docs. I'd say that when someone comes to the table with markdown support, a UI that matches the

There IS an abstraction on top of Webpack called "terse webpack": https://github.com/ericclemmons/terse-webpack It seems to have presets for sane defaults on the roadmap.

SSH-style login is still something I'd really fucking love. Much more secure way of logging in, easy protocol for storing multiple passwords, and easy authorization/deauthirzation of passwords/keys.

Probably legacy reasons and the type of errors you can get. Since JS used to be "sugar on top", it wouldn't make sense to completely eliminate the page when that piece of code which makes a logo flash doesn't work right.

That's pretty much what I'm thinking. Leave the company, stop using it, and fuck everything else. I realize that leaving a job isn't easy but an engineer that makes it to Uber is probably more than capable jumping ship.

I created a spec called MOML and is a markdown-friendly alternative to YAML. It uses plain markdown but allows you to section off parts of the markdown file in order to organize data in a sensible fashion. It has support for arrays so far i
