One of the things that I liked about Goldeneye was just how damn many multiplayer modes there were. eg. The Klobb was a crappy gun (low damage, huge cone of fire), but switch to one-shot-kills and it's suddenly an uber weapon :) My favorite

I can remember having trouble with Silo, that bloody 7:00 minute time limit. After a while I realised that I was having trouble aiming and had a big blind spot in one eye where the crosshair would normally be. I went to bed pretty quickly a

We're not really talking about 'proving' things, particularly on an internet forum, but you could start with a relative lack of facial and body hair, larger heads and bigger eyes, as well as more curiosity, less aggression and a more plasti

Sexual selection would operate on a different (neotenous) trait, and the lactase production gene would come along for the ride. Genes and organsisms are complex beasts, so traits will often be clustered together. An interesting related expe

Yes, but unless they can convince large publishers that writing games for Linux is a good idea, it's not much of a refuge, is it? Having a hundred thousand people sign up for his Steam group might be enough to get the ball rolling that way,

There's only three if you check the script out - Mac, .rpm and .deb. Is it really that hard to set up packages for three things? Depending on what's in there, it could also just be a node package.

I suspect this comment: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=2892050 One of the problems with downvoting new people - if they go negative, they're automatically hellbanned.

Why do you need to "argue" with it? I read it as more of a precautionary tale: don't immediately dismiss something because you haven't seen it happen first hand, or it's not an issue within your immediate circle.
