So why don't they apply for other jobs? Also, there seems to be a market rate for developers, which is usually not a bad salary. What is the reasoning for assuming most of them are underpaid? Because a lot are 10 times developers? Is i

There is a frustration among developers, I guess. But are there really a significant number of overqualified developers stuck in underpaid jobs? If so, is it because they undervalue themselves, or because there are too few employers willin

I don't think that is the same thing - preventing Jews from visiting business schools is not amenable to market forces, if there is a law against Jews visiting schools. Women had other things to do - Black people were working, too, but

Would you say it is more of a privilege or more of a burden to be able to spend time with your own children? Women tend to be the primary caregivers because they choose so, and they are able to choose because it is their privilege because t

I think in Germany at least, employers have to pay people for the damages induced by non-compete (the loss of salary/earning potential). Ianal, though.

I think the main skill is probably parting clients from their money (convincing them to give it to you), not actually investing the money well. Marketing, essentially. If you can sell, you make money.

If anything, they should check the rejected code and verify that it was not worthy of rejection, that is, it really was likely the gender of the submitter that caused the rejection. If higher rank of coder would make rejection less likely,

No, they shouldn't claim they are better and have no agenda. My point is these projects are bound to fail. Of course they will be "helpful" to some - after all, everybody picks some sources they trust. So if you feel you can

All these efforts have the same issue that existing media outlets have: why should they be more trustworthy than the existing media? All the newspapers in existence already claim that their number #1 goal is to report the truth. We all know

How can interest in computers develop if you are never exposed to it? I don't think the "interest develops on it's own" theory is true, not for any subject.
