It's really really hard to say. Not only are prices really high but I think the potential variance in outcomes that I would personally project is at an all time high. There are forces pulling the market in polar opposite directions an

Time needs to end its love affair with pretending it does real journalism that anybody cares about.

I'd honestly be interested to see the exact opposite of this. Employers who prioritize running their business instead of social theatre.

There's no free lunch. Everybody wants more money so there's no easy way to get it. Roughly the possible avenues break down to the categories: 1) learn how to provide exceptional value to people who will pay for it 2) take on exce

Oh interesting, we can just rephrase other people's thoughts to the least charitable version possible to complain about the world being unfair?

Agreed, I'm just saying we need to get a lot deeper into this trend before housing momentum swings the other direction. Personally I don't have conviction yet which way it is going to move. I don't think it will head up any f

This is really fascinating. If the fed was going to swoop in and buy mbs then I'd shrug this off. But the fed is 4 days a way from its first mbs roll off in many many years, ie the opposite direction. The fed is closer to capitulating

The only thing is, who would sell their house right now? Everyone is locked into great rates and cheap prices and will get screwed if they move. Obviously there are a lot of reasons and exceptions but overall I think this is true for most c

The pun is the name. What else in the pun is there to be offended by except the name itself? I would seriously like to understand this.

I think it's manifest that they are. This person doesn't find puns as a linguistic tool to be offensive. Their angle is that the use of a Korean name to address a Korean person with that name makes this pun racist. If I made a pun

I've never wanted to see someone get the book thrown at them so badly. This guy was so egregious. And the tweets just calling everyone who was calling this months in advance, "poor". Seriously hope they nail him.

Well. People have been going at this recipe for well over a hundred years. How's it working out? I just can't see why a movement whose core principle is not liking organizational structures wouldn't make any progress.

Honestly, there is no one left who doesn't know the Tulip story at this point. It's not some niche historical thing. A vast, vast majority of everyone tangentially related to crypto or finance and the HN crowd know what it is.
