I'm talking about US 20 years from now. Those in corporate America who think they are 'winning' today by selling out Western knowhow to China and failing to cultivate an indigenous STEM workforce are in for a big surprise whe

There is zero chance that the OP claim 'US government will decide that any person born in China is a security risk' will ever happen. There is an ongoing STEM arms race between US and China, with China possibly already ahead. US h

Sorry. I quoted a somewhat non-controversial source, then didn't pick up that you were rightfully describing that UDHR is weak, not prescribing that human rights are obsolete unless we all just take the vaccine.

Sorry to say, but this is typical Western 'markets above all' blinders. Very true, long term China doesn't need Western markets. But China needs World's resources, and Western markets will crash when starved for resource

We are taking an open bet: will the vaccine resistant covid strain(s) that are likely to emerge be more/less virulent than Delta or not? I don't have a crystal ball, but given that we know that for <20s the risk of complication

Perpetually quarantining certain classes of people is abject tyranny. Worse, the line is muddy: there are false positives (unvaccinated, but with solid post-covid immunity) and false negatives (vaccinated, but with breakthrough infections).

This is also a possibility. The open scenario is: take the vaccine, don't get a breakthrough case (vaccines work as intended and quickly suppress it), but do get a vaccine-resistant infection later on. If there is more information

Vaccine protection is weakening over time (boosters), mutations evading the vaccine are around the corner (Pfizer CEO), epidemiological profile is vastly different between <20 and >70. There are 4 other coronaviruses kids get exposed

That is wild. The situation in UK is nowhere near '99% unvaccinated suffer terrible outcome'. On 20th August, Public Health England published a report that is quite a bit more balanced. From Table 5, pp 22-23, Delta cases: o

I do not understand what the 5 year plan is. Even less what the 50 year plan is. On one hand: We are blessed to have access to mass genetic vector vaccines. Genetic vector vaccines are amazing at shaving off the sharp edge of the pandemic.
