I never understood the point of enforcing the spec for user input. Even if done properly it may reject some working, but invalid email addresses. And it does nothing to increase your chances of getting a good email address. Your user is eit

I agree. This is a dangerous sort of argument, to believe something - particularly something so core to human behavior - simply because it is convenient and satisfying. In fact, this type of justification is at the root of many of the terri

No more debates about whether YC is a "good deal" because of the low implied valuation of their initial investment. This changes the character of the YC experience. YC companies can now spend their time on product, not fundraising. On the o

Based on these statements, and the very low offer, I have to conclude your business is about to collapse. You have no leverage if you have no options. If 3x over 4 years sounds good, you are already conceding that the company is doomed. Se

Why would you vest an offer worth 3x revenue over 4 years unless your business was about to collapse? That's an atrocious offer as stated. You should get 3x earnings today (or some multiple depending on prospects and margins) and earn ou

Comic sans is popular because it is unpretentious, disarming, casual, and playful - it looks a bit childish, messy, and handwritten. It's interesting to read why designers don't like it, but they are completely wrong to "hate" it or advoca
