I use it for my degenerate sports gambling. I also give it as gifts for first borns. If you invest in gold, you won't be able to even gamble with it. In fact, you won't even have any gold at all. You'll have a certificate fro

Send fiat overseas and let me know how that goes. Crypto has plenty of issues but calling people who use a decentralized form of currency as "idiots" doesn't paint you as the sharpest tool in the shed.

Give the guy/gal $10,000 for the night. Their job, and as naturally it is to them, is to make "connections". It sounds petty but we all like our friends more than the general public lets be honest. And also TEDx doesn't

Oh like 1st interview question is: "What's your password?". A few jobs ago I needed some IT help and the guy asked me that. I told him my very vulgar password loudly. Then went back to my desk and changed it.

He gambled. Lost. Gambled more. Lost bad "even when times were good". My guess is he figured if he could borrow from Peter to pay Paul one more time... one more time that he would eventually be back in the black. I think he person

I was on a first date and forgot my wallet so the first place we went was the bank. I had to repeat all my info 3x. I leveled with them and pointed to my date and said I need $100. They gave me the $100.

Unemployment is measured basically only by # of people receiving unemployment benefits. It grossly undercounts. A less quantitative number but way more useful is "underemployment". I don't know what that # is, but looking at

I think you're right in that there are more beefier implementations outside of the browser, but the point of creating an app that is in the browser is almost entirely for minimal barrier of entry.

Worked at the popular [video game news website name redacted]. The Sales Dept head was a genius in their abilities: take last quarter's numbers, and ADD 10%! No forecasting or guidance, just more. That's it.

Reminds me of people who mark every one of their emails on Microsoft Outlook with the "Urgent" flag. Or people who immediately want to speak to the manager. There's something psychotic about it all.

Yes, exactly. I disagree that it's a distraction. It is to point out that there are a plethora of issues with crypto but pointing out issues with faith-based currency doesn't separate crypto from fiat. As a fan of crypto I see the

Good on them for cashing some of their winnings into fiat!... then showering 50 Cent with the money. Being humble, even in the face of new wealth, is a virtue. Spending it all at da club to prove one is a big man is pretty pathetic. Those M

The VC money is nothing new. Throw money at a handful of possible game-changers and see what sticks. The customers did not simply buy crypto. They gambled it. That's a gamble on top of a gamble being run by a few people in the Bahamas.
