Not based on actual research, but my guess is that with Edge, you'll now have Google phone-homing combined with Microsoft phone-homing. Unless Microsoft actively went out of their way to remove calls to Google, there may still be many

As pbarnes_1 said, I'd recommend adding some form of authentication. Perhaps you can instruct the service to send the requester instructions to provide proof that they are the owner of the account.
