Would be nice if there was a Lua or Python/language subset version of this, and it could be run without needing to manually convert to bash first.

You are more likely to die from lung cancer, than from a motorcycle accident, statistically. You are also wasting a lot of your life sitting in traffic. The cost of ownership is much higher, so you could say you’re wasting more hours at wor

This is not necessarily from extreme behavior, most Thai are on relatively slow scooters.

Depends where you live. In Colorado there’s no minimum age to be a motorcycle passenger. In California, the minimum age is eight, So you would need to find some alternate transportation.

I think that’s limited to the US. In Thailand, kids ride motorcycles from a very young age, and don’t exhibit the crazy driving on that they do here. I think if more families drove motorcycles, it would no longer be considered cool or extre

More lanes only helps the car manufacturers. A nice train system up and down the front range would be great. Would also help people get their 10,000 steps in every day walking to the train.

Everyone sitting in line day in day out, breathing each other's fumes is not healthy either: https://dceg.cancer.gov/news-events/news/2023/ultrafine-poll... The motorcycles also aren't contributing

But they reduce congestion, which equals less total time on the road. Everyone gets better MPGs if there is less stop and go traffic.

Pollution caused by congestion and manufacturing cars kills everyone. By riding a bike people can put their money where their mouth is regarding views on climate change; you're making a statement that says "I'm putting the en

Here's a nice study: https://newatlas.com/motorcycles-reduce-congestion/21420/ They say 10% of traffic being replaced by motorcycles reduces congestion by 40%. California has pretty good weather so it's

Try a motorcycle! The laws for lane splitting are the best in the country. You could probably fit 6 motorcycles in the space of one car.

It would be nice if they brought back train service from Denver to Ft. Collins and Laramie. In Europe you can go so many places with just a bicycle and a train ticket.

Lol popular science explains: “by ancient alien technology portal, we meant the technology is alien to us (modern Americans), and the portal is possibly to another adjacent room”. Obv the confusion is unfounded.

I remember hearing somewhere that cells keep absorbing the ink, die, then release the ink in a cycle as an explanation to why the tattoos blur over time. If the ink immersed cells are forced to die and regrow at a faster rate than surround

I’m sure this happens all the time in Hollywood. I’ve seen lots of movies thinking, “oh I guess they couldn’t get Jack Black for this role”, or Johnny Depp, or whoever it seemed like the part was intended for.

They’re not especially similar. I think the talking style is very close, people say it is flirty in the same way as the film. You can’t copyright look and feel though, can you?

I can't think of a great application either. Maybe if you want to map camera movements when converting an animated scene from 2d to 3d. It'd probably be easier just to start from scratch though. Simple polygons with a toon shader

The cheaper insurance can offset this. If you pay $30/month for minimum coverage , versus $300 for comprehensive, that’s 3200/year. If you get totaled only once every three years, you’ll have 10k toward a new car.

My fav takeaway is that no one is angry at them. They built nice homes for 10 and 40k. If they were to do it legally, it would cost 900k. Where are the extra 850 Ks going? Transit workers probably don’t make much money in the first place, m
