The game actually tracks this too, what is visible for each player, which gets slightly complicated with diplomacy changing. Of course this doesn't prevent you from just patching other parts handling this, but you cannot just simply mo

You can call the command creation functions yourself, making the game think it's part of the simulation [1]. These types of cheat have been around ever since the original game, and the HD edition [2]. [1]: https://redrocket.

Do you still remember what actual toolchain you used to build Age2? I have been looking into these games for some time, and the Mac build has been helpful, but has some oddities, like very weird floating point argument passing to functions,

I'm not sure what you leave on your dishes, but generally it's just a few crumbs, maybe a bit of butter, if it's obviously too much for the dishwasher - oatmeal does get as hard as cement for example - you need to rinse it of

They actually made this joke on She-Hulk ... K.E.V.I.N. (totally not GLaDOS) is an AI that leads the MCU storylines.

Or even just a small piece of text, i.e. a link. I have a samba share on one system for files, but that is certainly not "regardless of operating system", as it's a pain to do that with a phone. So a discord server with just

MSVC has /Ob1 [1] which only inlines specifically marked functions, or functions defined in a header. Shouldn't this inline all those trivial calls yet keep most debug info if you disable all the other optimizations? I haven

It also doesn't have some core features any multi-user voice chat client should have: change the volume of specific users and LOCALLY not GLOBALLY mute a user. Today I was on a call where one member was incredibly quiet and there was n

I fiddled around with these two games for years mod and reverse engineering wise, otherwise I wouldn't remember it all either! And of course I played them both many times. I played this game first as a kid, and it really left an impres

You might be misremembering things (a bit). Gothic 1 had the world, the oldmine, the freemine, the orcgraveyard and the orctemple (and technically also the abandonedmine and orccity but they are unused and empty) as seperate maps. So these

Netflix never willingly removes any popular show. What happens is that the original rights holder doesn't renew the license, because they want it on their own streaming platform.

Because video cutscenes always look crap 5 years later. Easily distinguishable from in-game rendered. Of course most games don't care about 5 years later, but it still looks crap.
