Maybe this will motivate Cuomo not to shut down all the nuclear plants in NY. I'm not sure how he plans to achieve any sort of reduction if you have to replace nuclear as well (which provides NY with 30% of its electricity).

Am I the only person who finds this kind of depressing and scary? I thought cryptocurrencies were supposed to be about democratization and decentralization. Now if you want to make money on Kik, you apparently are going to get paid in Kin,

Sort of, but not really. The whole kik points system model is to allow you to earn stuff for watching ads.

The whole 'earn points for this' system seems like a good idea in general, but I wonder how appealing it will be for advertisers to buy coins that wind up having such an unstable price. By the time they make it to the consumer the

Because they can have an ICO for their coin and basically have other people fund the development + probably make money on the side.

Anecdotally, It does seem like graffiti art is all but gone, at least in New York City. I wouldn't blame Instagram though. The real estate industry has pretty much scrubbed the place clean and defacement of their overpriced yuppie encl

The New Yorker definitely presents itself as sort of the informed liberal analysis, but David Remnick seems like a fairly professional if outspoken liberal editor. Not the type to spread untruths. Russia is also his speciality so he's

Sounds like an overreaction by your government tbh. Not Obama's fault. He comes to NYC fairly often, and there's usually more traffic in certain parts but 95% of people in the city wouldn't realize it.

This type of response is intentionally obtuse. By 'planet' people mean the planet's ecosystems. By the time humans are in danger, 90%+ of other species will probably be long gone.

There are a lot of mentality ill elderly people in NYC, and unfortunately, many seem to be forgotten and left to their own devices. The city can definitely be very taxing on the mind.

There are satire apps on Itunes targeting Hillary Clinton. It's very easy to make your case when you cherrypick one data point out of thousands. Here's an app called Avoid Hillary[0] where you're Bill Clinton trying to dodge

It's funny to see how holier than thou people get about these topics. Punch Trump "promotes violence" against Trump?? It's a game where you box with Trump (and he boxes back). What is this, the 1950's???

Serious Question: Why does the US always get away with average or below average temperatures? Every time I see one of these maps, USA (outside of the West Coast) is always blue.

Europe has a different type of racism though. There's a reason why the Muslims there become extremists but stuff like that almost never happens in the USA.

Eastern European Whites are notoriously racist. Are you really trying to say you don't have it easier than a Romani or a Central Asian, let alone a black person who happens to be living in Ukraine?

I was referring to the first line, "This is not work for white folks to lead." The language of that is pretty clear to me. Look up the definition of lead.

Don't see what the big deal is. The slide refers to spearheading a diversity program, not the company itself. Seems intuitive to me that such a program with only white, male managers might be problematic.

Funny, every GA grad says this on Reddit/HN, yet the ones I've talked to claim otherwise, and GA still has yet to release any sort of Employment Statistics. You'd think they'd use some of that 70 million to publish some
