This isn't their first app at all. They've already released Windows Live Messenger http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/windows-live-messenger/id3761... as well as a Bing client. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bing/id345323231?mt=8

If you're not actively collecting statistics from your users, then you're missing out on a huge amount of information. The biggest gains for me have been: 1. when I could discontinue previous OS version (3.x) support because most of my use

Um, I don't find "Food Store" to be a ridiculous trademark at all. Have you heard of The Container Store? They'd definitely argue that their trademark isn't ridiculous. And in my city, there's a burger restaurant called Burger and a drink

I had heard this advice many times before, but he added just one comment that completely made it for me. He advises to have just a few basic meals to choose from and then stick with those. Don't try to put variety in your diet at all or tr

Addressing your third point, I had a lot of trouble with this as well, especially since I'm trying to do the same thing as you, put together both a workout plan and a meal plan (in my case to aid weight loss). This sounds like an opportunit

I thought the PAGG data was pretty clear. I have it down as AGG before breakfast, lunch, and dinner and then PAGG before bedtime. I'll have to go look again to confirm, but that's what I wrote down when making my personal supplement/meal s

Ha! I do the same thing. Mine are "wake up", "stop messing around online and eat breakfast", "stop messing around online and get dressed", "stop messing around online and go to work". All spaced about 30 minutes apart.

Here's a couple that I've enjoyed lately. Only "The Deal" and "21 Dog Years" are tech centered, but all of them are good reads and amusing. Descriptions are pulled from Amazon. I've included affiliate codes, but feel free to strip them.

I think the key word in the headline that removes this from being trollish is "immediate". They have plans to release Froyo, but no actual date. He presumes that if a release was imminent, they'd have a general release date for it. So th

I'm toying with the idea of getting another Kindle just to user borrowed books from friends. 1. Give them my "Lending Kindle" 2. Have them register it against their account 3. Download the book(s) I want to borrow 4. Turn off wireless 5. Th

Can you point out somewhere that it says the number of lends is set by the publisher? I only saw that the publisher's were in charge of whether it was lendable or not, and not the individual terms of the lend.

At some point, Kindles are going to get cheap enough (~$50) that I'm not going to mind lending one out indiscriminately. I'll just load one up with the ebook I want to lend and then let my friend borrow it for however long it takes him to

No problems. I get the point, and understand your take on the publisher's views. As someone else mentioned, it's the same growing pains we had to go through with digital music, and there is some frustration that we'll have to deal with th

Just a note: Kindle books can only be loaned out ONCE, for a two week period. Your phrasing of "two weeks at a time" read to me like you though you could loan it out again after that two weeks was up. Apologies if my reading was incorrect.

How is it piracy? They would still have the restriction of a single lending for a single 14-day period. Right now, my girlfriend and I are reading the same physical book. I read it at work over my lunch break and she reads it at night bef

I realize the point of the feature, but it really is an anti-feature. It's like if you weren't allowed to skip tracks on a CD, but had to fast-forward through each individual song so that it would be more like a cassette tape.

I've already confirmed that there is a "work-around" for this. Load the book up on your Kindle (or other device). Disable wireless (or other networking). Then perform the loan from your computer. This way the book will be available on yo

I think that it's ridiculous that the lent book is unavailable to the original purchaser while it's loaned out. That completely defeats the purpose of an e-book. Edit: Do the downvoters disagree on the benefits of having a book in electron
