I think most of us never had a good understanding. I grew up in the "church" and no one ever said anything meaningful to me philosophically wise about things like this. I took a philosophy course in college but didn't attend

Materialism is provably false. Numbers are things that are real. In fact they are so real that life as we know it can't exist without hundreds of them being so precise. It doesn't matter whether you subscribe to multiverse theory
