Materialism is provably false.
Numbers are things that are real. In fact they are so real that life as we know it can't exist without hundreds of them being so precise. It doesn't matter whether you subscribe to multiverse theory or not the fact remains that they are immaterial.
QED: Materialism is false. There are non-physical things in this universe. I know you don't want to hear that but it is true.
- morpheos137 4y agoactually everything is and comes from "numbers" meaning information. As the book says in the begining was the word "logos" and the word was with God and the word was God. Few christians actually understand the physical significance of logos. Everything is an emanation of logos.
- usrn 4y agoThey taught this in the Philosophy class I took in High School. Lately I've been getting back into some of the philosophy and history stuff, I think when I was younger I was way too focused on pragmatic things like software development.
- alkjlkzs 4y agoI think most of us never had a good understanding. I grew up in the "church" and no one ever said anything meaningful to me philosophically wise about things like this. I took a philosophy course in college but didn't attend half of it because of "college reasons". I feel upset with the science establishment that some of this is so basic once you are exposed to it that it isn't taught in elementary or middle school. Materialism feels like mind control sometimes because it is so insanely wrong and so easily proven false.
