Going back, rereading what OP said. It wholly depends on the nature of the contract. (Which we don't have here.) Please don't attribute anything untoward to me. Reputation is EVERYTHING in this industry. I would NOT suggest so

First, let me disclaim IANAL. Depending on the wording in your SoW/contract (You DO have a written contract, right??) you may not have to disclose that someone else working for you are doing the customer work. It may also depend on t

Having been through the "hassle to host your own email server" experience, several years ago, I was very skeptical about doing the mailinabox.email setup. I was very pleasantly surprised, and have been hosting email for one of my

Curious to see how you create your "space" in Confluence. I've got the stock one, and I'm having issues trying to delete it. Not sure what to put in its place, but I wanted to remove the stock stuff.

Here's what I've always heard: make it work make it right make it fast Getting to the point where you can remove LOC takes mastery.

Kinda discouraging to make what would seem like a completely REASONABLE and VALID comment, and get downvoted. What's the point?! That's why I removed it.

Couldn't agree more. The more we get pushed outside of our comfort zones, the better. It helps you improve both as a person, and in your vocation.

I don't think I'd call it a "consumer" solution really, but it works very well, once you set it up. rsync.net It's not the cheapest either, but I never had issues when I was using them.

My position on this whole thing is that CrashPlan isn't just selling storage for backup. Their value is in the fact that they could be trusted to have your back if something happened locally. It was literally a set-it-and-forget-it sol

If you're conservative, be conservative with stating your conservative opinions. I find that conservative viewpoints are generally unwelcome here. Same goes for religion, if that's applicable. Stick with tech topics, and you'

This is one reason I don't run RHEL on bare metal, but only on a VM(ware) host. I know it's not free, and not cheap, but I'd rather not hassle with issues like that.

I have a limited understanding of how this works, but could it be that app devs are leaving debug stuff in the builds, and not removing that when it gets pushed to production? Please, educate me. I'm all ears. :)

One thing I'm finding a limitation about this setup is that it's hard to do some package installs, due to the toolchain limitations. gcc is out. you have to install clang, but that doesn't work for everything.
