What's the incentive for Google to EVER give the accounts back? Ethical, moral responsibility? Being a nice entity. And it takes zero effort to do so, especially once he is cleared by the cops? You know, stuff like Don't be evi

If they were dishonest about that then that does not look great IMO. If they weren't and both companies were fine with it then it seems OK. He was billing the companies 8 hours a day, each. Is this unethical? Sure. But he had no work

One of my ex-colleagues simply quit one day - no emails, no notice...nothing. Another one of my ex-colleagues told me he was doing two jobs, but only working 8 hours in total per day, if that. Then COVID layoffs happened. In the first case,

I agree a lot of podcasts are just rehashing the same sets of ideas. The same can be said about books released these days - most of these books should be a ten page article at best. That said, there are definitely gems waiting to be discove

On New Year’s Eve at NYC, the streets are jam packed. There is barely any space to move. Everyone around you has their camera out, trying to take photos of the ball drop. The only thing you can see are flashes. Then you’d curse yourself f

I am not sure this argument is made in good faith. Governments and government bureaucracy have enormous power over an ordinary citizen - part of the reason why there is rampant corruption in India (in the govt sector) is because people don&

This case is extra special, as anyone who has ever dealt with any Indian bureaucracy can attest to. I went to my university for some paperwork (years after I had gotten my degree) - I was treated like a leper and openly asked for a bribe. T

I agree. I went because it was novelty to me, I had moved to NYC and wanted to cross it off my list. Cops, huge crowds, bone biting cold, long waiting times… not worth it. But worst of all is still camera flashes, in my opinion

I have seen the 800k figure quoted elsewhere too. But even 80k per DAY is insane amount of money. Let’s say half of it is profit. 4M/40k = 100 days. For the amount of damage he has caused, for the amount of pain he has inflicted - 100

Jeez! 800k per day. That is obscene, for a charlatan. How much of this is profit I wonder. 4M is chump change for someone making THAT much money. Plus, who knows how much money his nut job supporters are donating to him.
