Line starting with a dash can be mistaken for dialogue or dashed list, which is not what you want. In any case: non-breaking space (or otherwise suppressed linebreak, if you don’t use a space) is the rule.

Would be very kind of you. But do note — I had this working until DLNA support was removed from core in 10.9.0, which released in May last year. Maybe your experience predates that? I should probably just downgrade.

There are. Anything that is a file in an open format will outlive me (given minimal care in terms of backups). My family photos, my markdown notes, non-DRM music and ebooks, proper applications. I’d say it’s all digital things, except for a

Your first link is a not a list of settings, it's an explanation. You can disable transcoding for a specific device (or user). However, it just means that the client will not show some videos, even though it can play them in reality. T

I wish it only transcoded things on explicit request, not based on its opinion. The LG TV profile it ships with is incorrect, and it's not at all clear how to stop it transcoding.

OS settings are targeted towards people with health issues. Usability guidelines are meant for people who want to see some text once in a while. Low-contrast “dark mode” is much, much more problematic than typical OS defaults.

Empiric evidence suggests that macOs does not have any interesting software. People go to great lengths to run Windows programs (through Wine, Steam Proton, VM integrations), and Linux stuff (Docker desktop, WSL/WSLG, X servers). macOs

If Wordpress no longer receives security updates, tons of sites will have to be migrated. Many are not economically efficient to migrate, and will be lost. Given the scope of that ecosystem, this is an extinction event for the Web.
