There is a separate project (now also managed by the AT Museum) called the hiker yearbook, which collects phone numbers and emails along with pictures. It looks like the first one may have been published in 2014.

I can certainly see that there are some fundamental issues with assigning software engineers the level of responsibility that structural engineers have. That said, from what I've heard, crowdstrike seems like a great example of somethi

The article you shared says that Kaspersky filed a complaint, but I didn't see a clear statement there about what the outcome was. I do now see other reputable sources reporting that an agreement was reached in 2009 where Microsoft pro

I believe what philistine is suggesting is that Microsoft could have implemented their own security offering using a safer alternative like eBPF, and then opened that interface to competitors as well. I think that would have been a proactiv

If you’re wrong about the loop, you’ll still hit BPF_MAXINSNS, so it’s fine to use heuristics that could produce a false negative right?

That sounds like an argument towards Microsoft not allowing third party drivers like this, or at least strongly discouraging them and making it clear that it breaks the warranty. Didn't Apple do this with deprecating kexts? (maybe that

I was looking into this recently and it seems like the cheapest AWS instance with a CUDA GPU is something on the order of $1/hr. It looks like an H100 instance might be $15/hr (although I’m not sure if I’m looking at a monthly pri

Solving for orbital period when at the surface, where d is the density of rock (googled): d ~ 2500 kg/m^3 T^2 = (4 * pi^2 * r^3) / (G * M) M = d * 4/3 * pi * r^3 substituting M into the equation for T^2 = (3 * pi) /(d *
