I know, but they usually offer dosage ranges, since it varies greatly depending on coffee density. In any case, it's not a "grouphead spec" as shown on the website. I know this is pedantic, but most coffee nerds are pedantic

> Maxiumum dose: 20g I found this spec a bit strange. Maximum dose is a function of the basket AND the coffee, both of which are up to the user, so I don't understand why this is in the machine's specs. > Basket style: Naked

Type hints are nice, until you have to interact with a library that isn't type-hinted, and then it very quickly becomes a mess. I don't know how other IDEs behave, but VScode + the Python extensions try to infer the missing hints

Now that you cite the BBC, there are quite sizable communities of UK citizens living in Spain after retirement (ie permanently, without a short or medium-term intention of going back) and they consistently refer to themselves as "expat

It's quite funny how people talk about "immigrants", but when they are themselves the ones living in another country, then they are "expats".

I'm not saying that it doesnt. We use both Nix and NixOS at work. I'm just saying that, if the goal is mainstream adoption, the core team should acknowledge that people will use Nix as a means to an end, and not for the sake of us

I think one of the issues with Nix's community is that they see using Nix as a goal on its own, not as a means to an end. 99.5% percent of people don't use Docker because they have a passion for writing dockerfiles, or because the

This is one of my main gripes with Nix. When something it's hard or unintuitive it's not Nix's fault, it's a skill issue on your part because you just "don't get it". It gets tiring quick.

I fail to see how mandating ISPs to implement and use IPv6 is equivalent to "putting laws on what you can put inside of Ethernet"

It doesn't work that way. There are many positions with lots of moves that are reasonable, but many others with only 1-2 sensible moves. It would make lots of obvious blunders that an amateur human would never make.

I think "sick time" or "sick days" is a very US-centric thing. In good chunks of the EU, medical leaves (approved by a doctor) are a legally protected concept.

The same thing as if someone votes and then gets ran over by a car as they walk out of the polling station. If the vote was legally emitted, it's counted.

Something I would have loved to see, especially in this era of AI, is improvements to the ATC system. But it seems we're stuck with the one from FS2020, which in turn is largely the same it was 20 years ago. Not everyone can or wants t

Here in Spain, any sort of food container is generally referred to as "a tupper", but I don't know a single person who buys Tupperware-branded "tuppers". There are cheaper and easier to find alternatives everywhere.
