This somewhat reminds me of the rogue game Brogue which I highly recommend (albeit very challenging) but slightly different. With Brogue there are no experience levels. You only get stronger by finding potions of strength (which I believe a

For action I would add Equilibrium (it has a cyberpunk feel to it) as well as the other movie he director did that I can't recall. Also Existenz which has a female programmer and predates the Matrix and Inception.

Funny related story. When I was at GaTech my dorm room (actually a 4 room suite) phone number was 4046. Now GaTechs area code happens to be 404 and there are few biz that share that area code. One notable one was a Papa Johns 404-6xx and so

The way I see the MOND vs Dark Matter is that there are two philosophies. One is we need to add something new to explain the behavior and the other is we need to adjust the existing theories. This is key because people (IMO particularly e

I have been exploring other email services. I was checking out protonmail recently as fast isn't my top priority. Anyone like protonmail? I'll have to give fastmail a spin soon.

I feel completely stupid for missing that. For some reason the layout of the pictures on my phone made me miss that. I might delete my comment now.

Not to be too tangential but I'm actually looking for a good running watch (I'm just getting back into running) and possibly heart rate monitor + gps. I noticed in the article they show her watch (to show the discrepancy in distan

Thanks! I have been meaning to give terraform a try to replace some of our custom gcloud + gcloud deployment descriptors. Also so that we don't need a separate docker compose version for development (I'm assuming in theory you can

The bumpy to polished surface is more of an aesthetic and ergonomic thing than a stick thing. That is the bumpiness of a lodge eventually goes away and the initial bumps really have little correlation on the stickiness. Think of it this way

Finex is for sure superior but they just don't make a lot of sizes (and of course the price). For example I use a 15" cast iron skillet to cooked spatchcocked chicken. With 15" I have even cooked spatchcocked turkey and duck.
