I could be wrong about this but my theory is that search engines are not very conversation oriented particularly google's. That is a majority of people want to have a "conversation" and that for the mast amount of non-techie

I agree that static typing at least for me gives massive reduction in time in medium to large projects. And despite what many think about Java I am able to be a multiplier faster than Python with it (I would say as much as 4x at times). Wha

I have noticed in other industries they at least try to come up with stupid rationalizations why there is age discrimination and gender pay gap. The reasons stated being older people raise the price of benefits and are closer to leaving wor

From my understanding there are hidden programs that are done by the alumni. I have in-law distant family member that had is entire MIT tuition paid by a mysterious alumni he never met nor talked to and it was not a loan or aid package. I h

Not to fall into "The Copenhagen Interpretation of Ethics"[1] but I agree with posters point that the issues may need to be addressed earlier. Like how do you build really good schools with high expectations for low income areas i

I wonder if they have any plans on dealing with stairs. Honestly I think the arm freedom is a big deal so I think they could come up with some novel ideas for stairs or other terrain. Bipedal movement (or I guess any number of legs) is impr

I have my own Go Heka story. I attempted to switch from Apache Flume to Heka mainly because of Flume taking vast amount of memory. I was hoping Heka would work but I think there must be some problems with the Golang AMQP drivers as memory u

I have a feeling the reasons listed in that posting hardly even come close to the primary real reasons why the acquisition happened. What the real reasons are I'm not sure entirely but I'm fairly certain its some what Red Hat gett

Since the check list is mainly opinion based (I didn't see any stats or references) I would add that it in my opinion you should get an SSL certificate. It was the first thing I noticed when I clicked on the link. Perhaps to many audie

The main advantage it seems for Transit is that JSON is fast for many different clients. Otherwise I'm not sure I would ever use it for internal services considering there are so many other probably faster options (Protobuf,Avro,SBE ..
