I really wish people would explain why they downvoted me on hackernews. Its not that I really care about the points its that I want to know what I did wrong. Like if I accidentally offended someone or it just wasn't an interesting comm

I read the SA article the blog refers to and I couldn't decide if that particular colossal theory on symmetry was just an isolated incident or that "deterioration" is really happening to many disciplines/theories of math

I can't help but notice that this looks more like an enterprise integration tool (think mulesoft) than API management (think apogee.. or I think that is what they do). Speaking somewhat from experience (webmethods, caml, spring-integra

I am surprised the tool doesn't do any color blind checking (ie putting red and green next to each other is generally not a good idea).

I am by no means a strong feminist but I find it pretty stupid to decide whether or not to hire based on gender (unless of course the gender is absolutely required like female lead in a movie). I have seen many women far more physically cap

Its sort of funny how the original SA article sounds like a beautifully crafted work of satire. I had to constantly remind myself that the original article is genuinely sober.

A while back I worked with team that had just brought on some new developers. Some of the developers were eager and would learn with out human intervention. Others would require and ask for some mentoring. Neither way of learning is right o

I was wondering that myself. Maybe they will release code examples on how that works. I'm only slightly familiar with the Haskell ecosystem but I have also wondered if it has a plugin like system (e.g. OSGI for Java).
