The killer feature of rust is rapid incremental improvement of the language. Every quarter something gets better.

EBPF is ridiculously awesome. It’s safe enough to jit in ring-0! We built a rust tool chain that can output ebpf elfs :). https://github.com/solana-labs/rust-bpf-builder

There is 0 evidence to suggest that private corporations wouldn’t have figured out the same thing. Or those same people sitting around at MIT wouldn’t have built the same thing without darpa. It’s not like “communication“ is an industry th

Amazing school! I was class of 2003. It was a really great combination of hard computer science topics along side close to the metal programming. I graduated proficient in Vim, C/C++, make, kernel driver development, digital control

A vast majority of deforestation for crop land occurs to feed the meat that we eat. How about this sweet car is only available to level 2 vegetarians and above?

One could make the argument that treating animals poorly lowers the value of life. Kind of like if someone has a poorly maintained house in your neighborhood, it impacts the value of your house.

Work smarter not harder. Your brain should be sweating not your fingers. I worked at a Big Corp, and would often spend the day surfing or training for ironmen, and coding at the cafe shop between sessions. My reviews came back nearly the t

Unpopular opinion: Its a sign of the world becoming more liberal and free. These kinds of weapons don’t directly kill hundreds of thousands of people. It’s propaganda wars. Let’s hope all future wars are fought only on the internet.
