POs have different incentives - they usually get rewarded for features built. A good PO has lots of ideas, some of those may be good for the product ("we will serve more relevant ads if we spy on our users!") and bad for the brand

But even that approach does not work for very long. With regulators tightening the laws everywhere, and eying bans on fully automated decision making in some industries (e.g. mine - in HR), you either staff those internal ethics teams with

Nah, people do remember what companies do and many avoid shitty companies. I work in HR, and on macro scale this is clearly visible. Some of our clients have a hard time filling roles despite paying competitively or even generously. Sure, f

Yeah, but lots of the debt is actually on company's books - as is the case with LBOs. This is yet another case of barbarians at the gate ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbarians_at_the_Gate ) - corporate raider ru

Not sure how lean do they run their stuff - I'd assume at least lean-ish, considering they have (had?) a lot of good engineering talent working on it. Asking for a large reduction while at the same time culling staff seems like wishful

That's easy. I work for a company that has a similar body. Its a PITA but they prevent over-zealous POs and engineers from building creepy things that get the brand in trouble. (E.g., "why don't we record our users and predic

I do take magnesium salts and salt, plus apple cider vinegar. The brain works fine during longer fasts, can confirm the 'clarity' thing, but I do not feel happy when I can't eat for a few days. Of course thats not hunger, jus

Yup, it's an interesting research - even if it's poorly summarized. I will look for more info, since we use a lot of sweeteners. I have a sweet tooth and my wife bakes a lot of keto cakes and makes keto desserts with them. Surely

TLDR: Long fasted cardio. No exogenous ketones needed. My wife and I have the same dietary regime when we need to lose weight - but I exercise, and she does not. We do 0-calorie alternate day fasting + strict keto on the eating days. I do q

I'd add that "drinking as normal" after Naltrexone means "drink at least one unit of alcohol". I can't imagine wanting to have more than one or two drinks after Naltrexone - the closest thing is the feeling you

I think the point OP was trying to make was that due to A.S. demonstrated disdain for the Ukrainians his books deserve a boycot. Cant disagree more. To understand modern day Russia one needs to have read Solzchenitsyn's books. The coun

Booking.com, quoted in the article, is a prime example of what happens when those companies are squeezed. They let a lot of people go in 2020, haphazardly, then they scrambled to re-hire as wheels started falling off their platform. I turne

Flask async still uses individual workers for their "async views". So, suppose your db has a bad moment and freezes for 20 seconds. All your flask worker threads become frozen on this IO - say, you have 50 of them. Your backend wi

I am not sure if thats so hard. I had a commercial app based on Flask, about 20 endpoints and 1MB of source code, and it took me a whole 1 day to port it to FastAPI. IMHO Flask is quite elegant if used properly.

I'd think so too. I have two mx master 3's on my desk, and no problems while using the sony wf1000 xm4's which also tend to saturate bluetooth bandwidth. My money is on Apple doing something non standard, not Logi.

Its not unlike with stablecoins. Either you have full privacy, if you havent made any lapses in opsec, or you really have zero. Once you post enough for an association being made, there is no undoing it, ever.

Also, its the average speed that counts. I doubt the avg speed of a freight truck running between two relatively close swiss cities exceeds 50km/h. Avg speeds drop sharply with any stops or slowdowns.
