I also use my phone like this. It's in my jacket pocket or shoulder bag, and I check it in the evening (sometimes). I do still have a sound for incoming phone call, but thinking about it now, I am going to consider disabling that too.

The bias shows in what they choose not not publish, as much in what they publish. Take Israel/Palestine (just to be sure to start an off-topic flamewar): Palestinian civilians are killed almost daily, nothing in the news. An Israeli

I actually don't think it was so bad, in fact I kind of credit Kalanick on engaging with the driver, he could have just asked him to STFU and drive. The worst part about that situation is that the driver made an excellent point: "

Yeah. I see a lot of COBOL guys that are extremely critical resources for big enterprises. As GP said, they are not paid like C-suite executives, but not very far from it, and no one asks them how they spend their time. Needless to say they

For some reason, Uber in Denmark was never cheaper than taxis. And this despite that practically every taxi here is a high-end Mercedes (and priced accordingly). So Uber skirted regulations and were still not cheaper than the overpriced a

In my experience, you need to work with individual developers and never ever with shops. I don't know how many of those are still around, but I had good work done on what was then Elance. An easy filter when soliciting work is to inclu

I think you would have a shot at a solid niche with the decaf angle. Think about this: At practically every workplace you can get real coffee, which will probably always beat freeze-dried stuff. But if you want decaf you are SOL. I am curre
