How is “nationalising energy” anything similar to the socialist state of the USSR?

AWS prefers at most three worded service names. Three letter acronyms are easier to remember and pronounce than four.

I miss my office. It’s an actual room that has 3 desks, windows, lights, and a door. Although it does have a glass wall. I’m so used (conditioned) to working in an open office plan that my desk faces a wall with my back to the room. Idk, it

In my professional opinion, Docker is great for testing, verifying workflows, and simplifying developer environments. At the end of the day, it’s just another layer of complexity that could be a liability. Do you need to use it? No. Like wi

I used Backblaze B2 as an offsite backup for RAW digital film. 1TB took about a month to completely backup, which is not ideal. B2 worked great and the pricing is indeed excellent, but the volume of raw data to backup over broadband is just

I don’t have much experience with unions. Here in Norway they seem to be common and a couple of my colleagues are union members. Employment is not “at-will” and so employees already have a lot of rights. From what I understand, the benefits

TCP/IP is just one part of that system. Arpanet as a project built upon existing ideas to create a wide-area network. Yes, this project began in the US and it built upon the work of others. I wasn’t there and I’m not a historian, but w

It was a collective effort by many people (of varying nationalities) across many countries (US, UK, France, etc../). But I digress, Arpanet was the first WAN and so I guess I see your point.
