I'm in Chicago. Literally every time I see a garbage truck, it's dumping the recyclables in with the trash. This doesn't surprise me at all.

I just posted the same thing. Definitely seems to be part of the exploit and doesn't seem to be trolling.

It's only at 12 bitcoin ($120k) right now. (serious question) why do you think it could be as high as $50 to $100 mm? Is there a way to see the total including unconfirmed transactions?

Yeah, pretty much all the big DTC brands (Allbirds, Away, Warby, OV, etc.) all have retail store fronts and "showrooms" now across the US. I always just assumed if they were spending $1mm+/month on FB ads, it wasn't a v

This is totally unrelated to the article but I keep thinking about this lately: does anyone know what happened to Noah Glass who was a part of the original founding team?

I stopped using Grubhub for pickup because the restaurants would consistently raise their prices on the app to make up for Grubhub's prohibitively expensive fee.

I heard Argentina as a popular place for "near-shoring", which likely wasn't very popular when this was written 3 years ago. Anyone here been using Argentinian tech talent?

I thought about this too. Genuine question: how does him totally exiting his Uber positions add credence to this theory?

Pretty crazy with Juul, WeWork, DoorDash, and Uber / Lyft all struggling (or showing their true colors) that all the things they sought to kill are coming back. Taxis, cigarettes, picking up your own food! It's amazing to me that

On top of that, Regus pays a huge portion of the employees at center hourly. I know Regus is not sexy, but they should get credit for focusing on economics that work at scale rather than just pumping up some ridiculous valuation with no ch

I think if you look at Warby Parker as a comparison, it's easy to see that Allbirds value is in buying into their brand. There were / are plenty of companies selling cheap glasses, but it took Warby Parker making them cool. I do

When I was in Denver last, they had 3 or 4 of them that all seemed to do pretty well. Basically these huge warehouse spaces sub-divided up. Some of them even had full fledged restaurants, art studios, breweries, coffee shops, etc. The &qu

This style of web design is super in at the moment. Not sure it has a specific name, but I believe the previous Intercom site started it. Possibly Wealthfront as well. A lot of companies seem to be using it to take more risks with their
