That assumption is huge. The other problem is that this tech doesn't really solve a problem most people have, so there's no motivation against waiting for a different company to try this. Heck they could even use the same code and

I don't think the posted is making any discussion of efficacy here, but is simply stating that there are people (non-US) who have to make the economic choice not to attend school, so filtering by degree even outside of the US is proble

There is so much misinformation here on college admissions. First, class rank is not reported by a majority of high schools, and many top high schools specifically for the reasons you mentioned. Beyond that, the class rank statistics don&#x

The problem of course is that it's cultural. Interviewer: So how did you enjoy your time in school? Interviewee: Oh Cambridge was a great place!

Wrong verbiage, point still stands. Probably a decent number of MAU on Facebook in that range but logging in and checking one thing twice a month is a big usage difference from daily or semi daily sessions that last for minutes, not seconds

Very true in my experience. While many (maybe 60%) still have an account, they basically do nothing with it. If you're a Facebook employee you may see that number of signups number and go "yeah they are using it" but the amou

What's funny to me about all of these comments is that practically focused CS programs can hit the best of both worlds. There's a reason there's a direct Waterloo to Google pipeline beyond just the 4/4/4 timing. Co-
