I agree with the sentiment of the other comments in that the price issue is only an issue from a single-user perspective and is fine for enterprise.

These guys look brilliant! "Even in 2013 it is almost unique to find a "home" package that includes IPv6. In IPv6 ::1 is the address for "Home". Calling it Home127.0.0.1 seemed silly."

Awesome idea but the price outweighs the pain factor, for me.

My experience of EE this week was that they attempted to sting me with a £150 up front charge for a phone (HTC One m8) on a £35pm contract. So, this does happen.

You're totally correct and I certainly don't disagree that Swift is an improvement to Obj-C. I just wish some one [who counts, i.e. not Microsoft, apparently] would just attempt to pick up the 'write once' torch.

So, the author's justification is that Apple now has Swift for iOS, so Google should bring Dart to Android. In my opinion, Swift, although great for shepherding more devs onto the Apple platform, fundamentally directs us further away f

Surely, in 2014 we can do better than CppCMS... srv.applications_pool().mount(cppcms::applications_factory<WebSite>()); Not doing us any favours there, at all. C++ is crying out for a bit of 'hip' and there's really n

I use a combination of a master password (12 chars, only known to me, not written down) and a seed to generate gibberish passwords for websites. In most cases, the seed is the service or website it's for ("netflix", "red

Usual shallow, rubbish peppered with quotes from PG and DHH - such as the famous “Never hire anyone to do a job until you’ve tried to do it yourself first.” which makes me cringe so bad.

Article calls this steganography but...I'm not sure it really is, as the payload is hidden in the file format's metadata...not _encoded_ into the pixel data.

I feel like he has the right idea but the concept of "risk", I feel, is pretty worthless when you've probably got a few hundred million in the bank. In fact, it upsets me in general when filthy rich people talk about risk, be
